WFT coach Ron Rivera cancer-free, family announces

Washington Soccer Group head coach Ron Rivera is freed from most cancers, his spouse, Stephanie, and daughter Courtney tweeted Thursday.
“The PET scan stated all of it, most cancers you misplaced this combat,” Stephanie Rivera wrote.

“Thanks for all of the love and prayers,” Courtney Rivera wrote.
The information comes after Ron Rivera completed treatments for squamous cell carcinoma, a type of pores and skin most cancers, final October. The coach announced his diagnosis last August, telling ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the most cancers, which was found in his lymph nodes, was thought of “extremely treatable and curable.”

Ron Rivera was capable of coach all the 2020 NFL season, though he said in the early weeks that he felt excessive fatigue on account of the remedies.
